Jobs in the Swiss health care system

Working in Switzerland

Swiss employers have been set up to work with staff of other nationalities for years, as there has been a shortage of staff here for decades.

Health Care in Switzerland

The Swiss healthcare system is constantly evolving, with the introduction of the DRG system in recent years leading to major changes in care. The Swiss healthcare system is one of the best in Europe! Vacancies are mainly present in the German and French speaking regions, both in big cities in winter sports regions and in smaller picturesque towns.

Which employers are looking for personnel?

We recruit on behalf of various (para)medical institutions. Our clients include many hospitals (general and university hospitals, private, cantonal and special clinics), rehabilitation clinics, retirement and nursing homes, Spitex services, psychiatric clinics and homes for the disabled. These employers make use of our expertise to recruit international healthcare staff.

Working conditions in Switzerland.

Switzerland pays the highest salaries in Europe. Working conditions are progressive and are determined cantonally, as are tax rates. Due to these cantonal differences, it is sometimes difficult to compare salaries across cantons. Of the gross salary, one receives about 75% as net salary. A 42-hour working week is the rule and a 13th month's salary is paid annually. Holiday days vary from canton to canton and range from 22-25 days, plus public holidays (about 10). Social benefits are excellent. The probationary period in Switzerland is 3 months.

staff housing

Accommodation is available in almost all employments, from a room in the staff house, to studios or flats. In most cases, the employer arranges suitable accommodation. Only in individual cases is there no accommodation present or available with the new employer. In this case, the search for accommodation takes place in the immediate vicinity of your new workplace. Since the foundation of our company, every applicant has still managed to find suitable accommodation in time!
